    Nature Of Business

    Agritrade Leaf Tobacco was registered in 2016 under the Companies Act [Chapter 24:03] of the Republic of Zimbabwe. The Company is a licensed tobacco merchant registered with the Tobacco Industry Marketing Board (TIMB) and is engaged in the contracting of Flue-Cured Virginia (FCV) tobacco farmers through cooperatives across Zimbabwe’s principal tobacco producing regions, together with the purchasing, processing, packing, storing and exporting of leaf tobacco.

    Agritrade is also active in the sourcing of tobacco from other local companies for the purposes of grading, processing and marketing, complimenting its own contracted production base.

    The Company’s management team brings in excess of 20 years of combined expertise in the Sub-Saharan tobacco industry, with proven track records built at leading international leaf merchants — expertise that underpins Agritrade’ s approach to quality assurance, grower relationships and export-grade compliance.
